Museum at Gorkha War Memorial

The Gorkha Regiment Museum is being developed as a purpose-built institution dedicated to preserving and presenting the legacy of one of India’s most respected fighting regiments. Conceived as a G+2 structure, the museum is designed to house artefacts, records, and narratives that reflect the courage, discipline, and history of the Gorkha soldiers.
Unlike conventional public museums, this project carries a strong sense of responsibility where architecture must support remembrance, respect, and clarity of storytelling. The building is planned to accommodate structured exhibition spaces, controlled circulation, and clear sequencing allowing visitors to engage with regimental history in an ordered and immersive manner.
The museum is envisioned not merely as a display space, but as a repository of identity and memory. Interior planning is being carried out to support curated storytelling ensuring that artefacts are presented with dignity, context, and visual clarity. Services and lighting are being integrated discreetly to enhance exhibits without overwhelming them.
